Comments: When looking for information regarding Salhan I could not find anything so I thought I should write in. To let everyone know how fantastic these apartments are, absolutely fantastic. From the moment you arrive the staff can not do enough for you. (Nuray, Polat and all the family)

They are on a busy road but you do not hear any of the road noise. The famous Dolmus stops right outside for ease of getting to Hisaronu, Olu deniz and Fethiye. But if you wish to walk to Hisaronu it would take 15-20 minutes.

There are so many resturants and bars, that we did not get to visit them all, but for nice food you have the Lemon Tree in Hisaronu Nero and Bianco also do nice food, and is a comfortable bar we spent a few nice evenings here just having a drink. Gino made you feel very welcome and so did the locals that use it. On the way down to Hisaronu from the Salhan you also have the Union Jack that do nice food or just go in for a drink Metin will welcome you. Try to avoid when Galatassary are playing. But if you do not want to go into Hisaronu just chill out around the pool, have a few drinks or even your evening meal here, the food is very good.

Olu Deniz beach is lovely but shelves very quickly, but where you get of the dolmus ask them them to phone Bobs beach they come and pick you up and take you to this very gentle shelving beach in the lagoon ideal for children. Or if you're up to it have a walk from Olu deniz. Follow the road by the right hand side, of the laggon entrance past Bobs Beach onto Josephs Beach after you have been there once they will pick you up and take you back to your apartments. They will always give you a card so you can phone them to pick you up. You cannot miss Joseph he is very friendly and wears a big hat with corks around it. Great holiday the usual Turkish friendliness and no Germans. Try the trips, Hamish Mcturk is good. Take sterling everyone changes it and with a better exchane rate than here( sometimes you get change in pound coins)The litte shop from the apartment sells 3 litres of water also wholemeal bread, please return the 3 litre containers. Again GREAT HOLIDAY will definetly go back. (Lymington)

Comments: Having seen the advert in a magazine and visited their excellent website, I felt quite sure this was the place we should choose. We phoned Rhiannon who was very helpful, professional and reassuring and made us confident that we havd made the right decision to go on our own this year - all the transfers from the airport were arranged and we hoped that someone WOULD be there to meet us when we landed in the middle of the night. Sure enough, there was Polat - the manager none the less with our name on a board - he got us to the hotel very quickly and we were escorted to our apartment. The apartments are beautifully done with lovely wooden floors and furniture and even more spacious than they looked on the website. It was lovely to see all the facilities advertized were there this included: 3 Aquaslides, children's play area, pool table and 2 pools! The staff were so friendly and helpful, they even looked after the children so we could finish our meal and gave them free ice-creams! The restaurant was fabulous - apparently new this year - great food and friendly service, although they could do with one or two more waiters when it was busy. It was really handy to get down to the village as you could walk or get a bus from outside the hotel. We made some good friends there and loved the hotel run boat trip - just for the guests at the hotel. We will definitely be going back again! (SALE)

My/Our Holiday Opinion:

Dear Polat and Rhiannon
Just a quick message to say how very much we enjoyed our recent holiday in
Turkey and the warm welcome from you made all the difference. The slight
hiccup over the lift to the airport was a bit scary, but despite the airport
being very crowded we made it onto our flight home. We have lots of lovely
memories of our holiday, especially the boat trip with you and will
definitely come back to Turkey.
We have a small number of lira which we were keeping incase we needed
anything at the airport, but in the event didn't have time(!) so will put
them in the post to your Cheshire address and maybe you can add them to the
Fethiye orphanage fund.
Please give our good wishes to all of the staff especially Nouri (forgive
spelling) who was fantastic.

Hi Rhiannon,

Its 9.15 pm UK time and we are all just about ready to drop, but just before we do, we just wanted to thank you.  The Salhan Apartments along with it's staff, Polat and yourself provided us with one of the most enjoyable holidays we have ever experienced.  We were able to relax in beautiful surroundings and enjoyed excellant service and very good company. Please thank all of them for us.

The children are already counting down the days until we return and I have already started looking at flights for next July (you have to agree that is great forward planning on my part!)

As soon as my brain gets back into gear I will forward the photgraphs to you.

Hope you manage to get some sleep and Perisha's (sorry if the spelling is incorrect) teeth cause her less discomfort.

Many thanks to you all for a most enjoyable stay at your hotel and for making us feel so welcome, we all had a really lovely time.

I would also like to thank Polat (Please forgive my spelling) for his efforts in showing us around some properties. I'm just sorry they were all above our current budget.

I do hope that we are able to return in the not to distant future and see you all again soon.
